If there is a better or more economical way to accomplish your goal, they will apprise you of it, despite what the plans may say.

Carraway Construction has been wonderful to work with.  I was impressed by the timing and adherence to the proposed schedule and budget.  We were moving to a new building and had a very tight schedule for completion.  Kirk stayed in contact with the subcontractors and with me and we were able to address issues as they came up and as soon as we found out about them.  This allowed us to complete the project within budget and before the scheduled deadline.  In construction, there are always regulatory agencies with which we must contend.  These agencies never have the sense of urgency that the customer experiences.  Kirk was able to navigate the paperwork and get the proper documents without my having to intervene.  I felt as if my time was very valuable to Kirk and he took care of a lot of headaches.

As with many developers, we never have enough money in the budget to do what our creative architects draw; therefore, the process of “value engineering” becomes a critical part of the reason that we like to work with Carraway Construction.  They understand the value of a dollar and how to squeeze the most value out of it!

Our first experience with the Carraway family construction business came through working with Stirling Properties who served as the property managers for a new Goodwill leased store of about 15,000 square feet in a developing trade area in east Metro Jackson, MS.
